SIPS sensor (B-post)

Preparing the vehicle
Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead Battery Disconnecting.

Removing the SIPS sensor (B-post)





Remove:
- the lower B-post panel according to Lower B-post panel Lower B-Post Panel
- the foam carefully
- the two screws.
Carefully unhook the catch. Remove the connector.

Note! Do not pull the cable.

Note! Check that no pins are damaged on the sensor and connector.

Installing the SIPS sensor (B-post)

Install:
- the connector and check the locking
- the two screws. Tighten to 6 Nm
- the foam
- the lower B-post panel according to Lower B-post panel Lower B-Post Panel.

Finishing work
Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead Battery Disconnecting.
Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via VIDA. Erase the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
