Warning! It is important to use an ESD bracelet as a ground when working with the SRS system. There is a risk that the components may deploy.The bracelet must ground to the chassis not to the control module.
Connecting the breakout box
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the battery negative lead
- Disconnect the control module connector
- Ignition on.
Warning! There must not be anyone inside the passenger compartment.
- Connect the battery negative lead.
Connect adapter 951 1525 Adapter 951 1525 Adapter to the control module connector. Connect breakout box 981 3190 Replaced by 9511428 981 3190 Replaced by 951 1428 to the adapter depending on the reading to be taken.
Disconnect the breakout box in reverse order.
