Possible source
- Defective fuse
- Defective bulb
- Open-circuit in the power supply, the cable to the lighting switch, the cable from the fog lamp switch, one of the cables to the rear fog lamp or the ground cables from the bulbs.
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply, the cable to the lighting switch, the cable from the fog lamp switch, one of the cables to the rear fog lamp or one of the cables to the parking lamps.
- Defective fog lamp switch.
- Contact resistance and oxidation.
