Seat Rail Base, Replacing

Removing the seat rail







Remove the front seat.

For inner rails:
Remove the seat belt buckle.

Remove:
- the front screw (A)
- the rear screw (B)
- the rail (and gas strut).

NOTE: When replacing the gas strut, the gas must be released. Drill a 4 mm hole as illustrated.

Installing The Seat Rail







Transfer the components as required.

Put the seat in its highest position.

Secure the gas strut and position it in the frame.

Install:
- the rail. Position the gas strut in the mounting
- the rear screw (B). Finger tighten.

Slide the rail forwards. Install the front screw (A).

Tighten the 2 screws. Tighten to 15 Nm.

For inner rails: Install the seat belt buckle. Tighten to 48 Nm.

Install the seat.
