Removing Components For The Backrest

Preparatory Work

Remove:
- the seat.
- the side panel.

Removing The Front Seat Backrest







Remove:
- the connectors for seat heaters (if applicable)
- the connector for the SIPS cable harness from the bracket.

Lift up the upholstery to expose the screws.

Remove the screws and the backrest from the seat.

NOTE: Note the routing of the SRS ignition cable.

Installing components for the backrest

Installing The Front Seat Backrest







- Position the backrest on the frame. Finger tighten the 4 screws.
- Tighten the screws to 48 Nm.
- Insert the SRS ignition cable. Tighten it as above.
- Install the upholstery.

Installing The Front Seat

Install:
- the side panel.
- the seat in the car.
