Removing And Installing Side Panels In The Cargo Compartment, S40

Rear Seats







- Fold the rear seat forward. Fold the right backrest down
- Remove the fixed section (A) on the right backrest.

Removing The Rear Panel
- Remove the 2 screws. Remove the carpet in the cargo compartment. Remove the rear panel
- The side panel on the right-hand side: Press together the clips. Pull the cargo net off the reverse of the panel







- Remove clip A. Remove screw B
- Remove the cargo compartment panel from underneath. Use a twisting movement
- From chassis number 713491- inclusive: When removing the cargo compartment panel, it must be pulled out so that the groove in the panel moves over the hooks.

Installing The Rear Panel
- Install the cargo compartment panel with a twisting movement
- From chassis number 713491- inclusive: Install the cargo compartment panel by sliding the groove in the panel over the hooks







- Install clip A. Install screw B
- The side panel on the right-hand side. Press the cargo net into place on the reverse of the cargo compartment panel
- Reinstall the rear panel. Reinstall the cargo compartment carpet.

Rear Seats







- Install the fixed section (A) of the backrest on the right-hand side
- Fold the backrest into position and reset the back seat to its normal position.
