Checking The Ground Terminal
















- Ignition off
- Connect the breakout box.
- Audio unit disconnected.

NOTE: Ensure that you have noted the radio code before cutting the power to the radio. If the current to the navigation system has been interrupted, it may take up to 15 minutes before the GPS signals are received correctly and the car's position can be calculated.

- Switch off all equipment that takes power from the battery (courtesy lighting, radio etc).

Connect an ohmmeter between the battery negative terminal and terminal #A12 (terminal #26 on the breakout box). Connect an ohmmeter between the battery negative terminal and terminal #A8 (terminal #22 on the breakout box).

Does the ohmmeter read approximately "0" for both readings?
