Signal Missing

Signal missing

Checking components and wiring
Visually check the connectors and terminals.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B36 (#B46) and cruise control lever terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B24 (#B34) and cruise control lever terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A40 (#A40) and cruise control lever terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B35 (#B45) and cruise control lever terminal #4. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #B19 (#B29) and cruise control lever terminal #5. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- With Cruise ON, the voltage to the cruise control lever is a quadratic wave with a peak voltage of Ubat and is supplied via engine control module (ECM) terminal #B36 (#B46)
- At Cruise OFF, the power supply to the cruise control lever is a saw tooth voltage with a peak voltage of Ubat and offset voltage of approximately 7.5 V.
