Solenoid shifting 1-2 and 3-4, replacing

Removing the side cover from the transmission

Removing solenoid S1





Remove:
- the connector
- the spring clamp by pulling it straight out. Use a small screwdriver
- the solenoid. Use a screwdriver between the solenoid and the housing. Carefully pry and pull the solenoid at the same time.
Check that the O-ring remains on the solenoid.

Installing solenoid S1




Apply a little petroleum jelly to the solenoid O-ring.

Install:
- the solenoid by pressing it. Guide the solenoid in so that the locating pin on the side locates in the cut-out
- the spring clamp. Check that the spring clamp is locked
- the connector.
