Solenoid lock-up function, replacing

Removal

Preparatory work

Removing the lock-up solenoid





Remove:
- the connector from the solenoid and the cable harness from the holder
- the spring clamp. Pull it straight out. Use a small screwdriver
- the solenoid. Use a screwdriver between the solenoid and the housing. Check that the O-rings remain on the solenoid.

Installation

Installing the lock-up solenoid




Apply a little petroleum jelly to the O-rings.

Install:
- the solenoid. Turn and press in the solenoid a little so that it bottoms against the control system
- the spring clamp. Check that the spring clamp is locked
- the cable harness to the holder and the connector to the solenoid.
