Hint: The SRS control module transmits a signal to unlock the central locking system to the VGLA control module after a collision.




- Ignition on
- Lock the car with the inner central locking switch.
Activate central locking system unlocking.





Does the unlocking function?

Yes - DONE

No - Checking the wiring

- Ignition off.
Check the cable between SRS control module terminal #55 and VGLA control module #A10. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Remedy as necessary.

No - No Fault Found

- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
- Lock the car with the inner central locking switch.
Activate central locking system unlocking.

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - Fault-tracing information
