Signal Too Low. Intermittent Fault
Signal too low. Intermittent fault
Intermittent fault
Check the control module and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #2 and terminal #3 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #30 and transmission connector terminal #4. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Hint: Check solenoid SLT by measuring the resistance between terminals #3 and #4 on the transmission connector. The ohmmeter should read 5-5.6 ohms at 20°C.
Remedy as necessary.

If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
