Signal Too Low. Intermittent Fault
Signal too low. Intermittent fault
Intermittent fault
Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #3 and terminal #1 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #31 and terminal #2 on the 8-pin transmission connector. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Hint: Check the solenoid SLU circuit by measuring the resistance between terminals #1 and #2 on the 8-pin transmission connector. The ohmmeter should read 5-5.6 ohms at 20°C.
Remedy as necessary.

If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
