Signal too low. Intermittent fault

Checking the connector and cable












- Ignition off
- Disconnect the battery negative lead
- Disconnect the SRS control module and combined instrument panel connector B.
Check the control module terminal pins. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the cable between the combined instrument panel terminal #B11 and control module terminal #54 (#20). Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
