- Ignition off
Release the wastegate as described in Checking and adjusting the boost pressure control (BPC) valve on the turbocharger (TC) Adjustments. Check that the wastegate does not seize or get stuck in the closed position.
Check the turbocharger as described in Checking boost pressure with manometer while test driving the car Checking Boost Pressure With Manometer While Test Driving The Car. Especially check the function and hoses of the pressure regulator.
Remedy as necessary.
