Checking function of power unit
- Ignition on
- Slowly turn the blower fan selector between minimum and maximum.
Check that the function is OK
- The fault is intermittent if the function is OK.
Is the function OK?
Yes - Intermittent fault
No - Checking connectors

- Ignition off
- Check the climate control module connector and power unit connector A (30-pin). Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Remedy if necessary.
Check for damage carefully
- Reinstall the components, reconnect the connectors etc.
- Ignition on
- Slowly turn the blower fan selector between minimum and maximum.
Check that the function is OK.

If the function is now OK this indicates that the fault was caused by poor contact in the connectors.
Is the function OK?
Yes - FAULT FOUND
No - Checking cables

Check the cable between climate control module #A26 and power unit terminal #3. Check for an open-circuit and a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Try a new power unit if the wiring is OK.
Remedy as necessary.

- Wait at least 10 seconds for the control module to carry out its diagnostics
- Slowly turn the blower fan selector between minimum and maximum.
Check that the function is OK.
