Intermittent fault
Check the connector for the damper motor and control module connector A (30-pin). Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the signal cable between climate control module terminal #A22 and damper motor terminal #4. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
Applies to left-hand drive cars only
Check the power supply cable between climate control module terminal #A21 and damper motor terminal #1. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
Applies to right-hand drive cars only
Check the power supply cable between climate control module terminal #A21 and damper motor terminal #3. Check for an intermittent open-circuit. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground.
