Removing The Lift Mechanism







Remove:
- the door panel
- the panel lining carefully to access the screws
- the two screws
- the side impact protection support and side impact protection block.

Lower the window. Remove the two screws (A).

Raise the window. Secure using tape.

Remove:
- the four screws (B)
- the three screws (C) for the motor
- the connector- the lift mechanism.

Installing The Lift Mechanism
- Connect the lift mechanism in the door. Connect the connector.

NOTE: Apply contact grease P/N 1161427 in the connector.

- Install the screws (B and C). Tighten by hand.
- Slide the window down until the lugs run over the window rail.
- Install the two screws (A). Tighten by hand.
- Wind the window up and down a few times. Then close the window.
- Check the alignment of the window.
- Tighten the screws (B and C). Tighten to 8 Nm.
- Wind the window down so that the screws (A) can be tightened to 8 Nm.
- Wind the window up and down a few times to check the function.

Install:
- the side impact protection support and side impact protection block
- the run-off profile
- the door panel.

Clean the window.
