Preparing The Vehicle
Prepare the car.

Removing the SIPS sensor (B-post)







Remove:
- the lower B-post panel.
- the foam carefully
- the two screws.

Carefully unhook the catch. Remove the connector.

NOTE: Do not pull the cable.

NOTE: Check that no pins are damaged on the sensor and connector.

Installing The SIPS Sensor (B-post)

Install:
- the connector and check the locking
- the two screws. Tighten to 6 Nm
- the foam
- the lower B-post panel.

Finishing work
- Prepare the car.
- Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via VADIS. Erase the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
