Replacing the switch on the parking brake lever

Preparations
Ignition off.
Remove the parking brake lever according to Replacing the parking brake lever assembly Replacing The Parking Brake Lever Assembly

Removing the switch




- Pull the parking brake until the switch is released from the handle
- Make a punch mark in the rivet
- Drill out the rivet. Use a 5 mm drill bit
- Remove the switch.

Installing switch




Install the switch. Screw the switch into place.

Finishing
Install the parking brake lever according to Replacing the parking brake lever assembly Replacing The Parking Brake Lever Assembly
