Replacing The Throttle Body (TB)

Remove:







- the cover for the throttle body (TB)
- the air intake hose
- the throttle cable
- the throttle body (TB) from the intake manifold
- the connector
- the gasket

Clean the throttle body (TB) and intake manifold and air intake hose.

Installing the throttle body (TB)
Connect the connector to the throttle body (TB).

Install







- the new gasket, secured using the mounting screws
- the throttle body (TB).

Tighten to 10 Nm

- the air intake hose.

NOTE: Ensure that the clamp never comes into contact with the throttle pulley in the idling or wide open throttle (WOT) positions.

Test the function. Reinstall the throttle body (TB) cover.
