Replacing The Variable Valve Timing Solenoid
Remove the cover from the timing gear.

Removing the variable valve timing system







- Remove the connector and the wiring beside the connector
- Remove the screw
- Carefully pull the device off
- Remove the O-ring.

Install the variable valve timing system







- Wipe up any spilled oil. Clean the mating surfaces
- Install a new O-ring
- Position the system. Turn the system into the correct position
- Install the bolt. Tighten to 8 Nm
- Connect the wiring.

Install the cover on the timing gear.
Start the engine. Check for leakage.
