- Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) missing.
- The fault is permanent.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the signal cable.
- Defective brake fluid level switch.
- Defective combined instrument panel.
- Defective charging system.
- Low brake fluid level.

Warning! If the lamp comes on while driving or when braking, the brake fluid level is too low. The fault must be dealt with before driving the car any further.
