Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CCM-0071 is stored if the climate control module registers that the power supply in the cable for the air distribution + damper motor or the temperature + damper motor is less than 3 V when the air distribution motor moves towards ventilation.

Substitute value
The control module attempts to set the recirculation damper motor and air distribution damper motor to the fresh air and defroster positions.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply to the air distribution+ damper motor
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply to the temperature + damper motor
- Defective damper motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- Air flow problem.
- The passenger compartment temperature does not correspond to the set position.
