Checking the wires and components
Check that the fuse 11D/2 is intact.
Check that shunt 20/29 is undamaged. The resistance between the shunt pin is 0 ohm to 5 ohm depending on between which pin the measurement is taken.
Check the wires between:
fuse 11D/2 2 and Rear electronic module (REM) connector 4E
shunt 20/29 2 and relay 2/49 5
relay 2/49 3 and left or right lower lamp body 3
for an open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault or for a short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check the wire between left or right lower lamp body 4 and ground point for an open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check that the lamps are intact.
Do the necessary corrective action.
