Replacing the lock cylinder in the trunk lid

Removal

Removing the inner panel
Remove the inner panel of the trunk lid according to Panel, trunk lid, replacing

Removing the cover




Disconnect the mounting hooks on the cover using a screwdriver.
Remove the cover from the protective cover.

Releasing the link arm
Release the catch for the link arm.
Disconnect the link arm.

Removing the protective cover




Remove the nuts.
Remove the protective cover with the link arm. Place to one side.

Removing the lock cylinder




Remove the nuts.
Carefully remove the lock cylinder using a screwdriver.
Remove the lock cylinder and reinforcement.
