Checking the wiring




- Ignition off
- The breakout box connected.
Check the communication cable CAN H between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #27 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #27. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 18). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 14). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 13).
Check the communication cable CAN L between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #26 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #57. Check for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 18). Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 14). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault (TCM-DF 16).
Remedy as necessary.
