Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) TCM- 002E is stored if the control module registers that lock-up does not function or if the transmission judders during lock-up.

Substitute value
- The transmission control module (TCM) does not activate the lock-up solenoid.

Possible source
- Poor quality transmission fluid
- Mechanical fault in the transmission.

Fault symptom[s]
- The warning lamp for the automatic transmission flashes
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
- No lock-up function
- Harsh gear shifting.
