Intermittent fault




- Ignition off.
Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #11 and terminal #2 on the black 2-pin transmission connector. Check the wiring between control module terminal #12 and terminal #1 on the black 2-pin transmission connector (control module side). Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.
