Control circuit for the starter motor relay

Condition




The immobilizer control module monitors contact with the starter motor relay for faults in the first two seconds after the ignition is switched on. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-335 is stored if the control module detects a fault.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable between control module terminal #2 and starter motor relay connector #2.

Fault symptom[s]
- The indicator lamp on the combined instrument panel lights.
- The engine does not start. (The starter motor does not operate.)
