Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-6F is stored if the engine speed (RPM) exceeds 2000 rpm, the load signal is above 800 mg/str and the vehicle speed signal is missing for more than 10 seconds.

Substitute value
- The maximum engine speed (RPM) is limited
- Initial boost pressure
- No leak diagnostic
- No idle air trim adaptation.

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- Open-circuit in the signal cable
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- Contact resistance and oxidation.

Fault symptom[s]
- The speedometer does not work
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
- Poor performance
- Too high idling speed
- Too low idling speed.
