Signal Too High. Intermittent Fault
Signal too high. Intermittent fault
Check the wiring and connectors
- Ignition off
Check the connector of boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) for intermittent contact resistance and oxidation as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults and for loose connections as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults. Check especially for damage.
Check the cable between boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) terminal #3 and control module terminal #13 for intermittent short circuit to supply voltage as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults and the cable between boost pressure sensor 2 (MAP) terminal #2 and ground for intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.

If the fault is intermittent, do not verify fault-tracing if the fault does not recur.
It is possible to view the information again, or leave fault-tracing for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
