Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-441 is stored if the control module registers a fault in the internal control module valve relay, or there is a fault in the power supply to the valve coils.
The valves and pump motor are activated during ABS control and when testing the valve and pump motor. The control module carries out the valve and pump motor test the first time the car reaches 6 km/h each driving cycle.

Substitute value
- The ABS function is disengaged. Certain faults disengage the ABS system only when the valve and pump motor test have been carried out.

Possible source
- Replace fuse 12 (50A) in the integrated relay/fusebox.
- Open-circuit in the power supply to control module connector terminal: 18.
- Contact resistance in the terminals.
- Defective control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The ABS warning lamp lights.
- There is a risk of wheel lock-up when braking if the ABS system is disengaged.
