Resetting the service reminder indicator (SRI) (Illustrated Version)

Hint: The indicator can also be reset using VIDA vehicle communication.

Carry out the fallowing procedure to reset the service reminder indicator:




1. Ignition Switch position/mode I. (As illustrated above)





2. Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset button. - red arrow -

Note: In some cases, a rubber plug is used in place of the Trip Odometer Reset button





3. Ignition Position II. (As illustrated above).

4. The service reminder indicator starts to flash when the reset button for the trip odometer has been pressed for 10 seconds.

5. Once the service reminder indicator begins to flash, release the trip odometer within 5 seconds. The instrument panel gives an audible signal when resetting has succeeded.

Note: If the trip meter reset button is not released within 5 seconds the indicator is not reset. However the indicator will stop flashing.
