Backup Light Bulb: Service and Repair

Removal

Preparations
- Switch off the ignition
- Reset the lighting switch
- Open the catch for the side panel and fold down.




Bulbs
- Press the spring clip on the lamp holder. Angle out and remove the lamp holder
- Remove the bulb.




For the location of lamps in the tail lamp see the illustration.
1. Stop (brake) lamps
2. Back-up (reversing) lamps
3. Turn signal lamps
4. Rear fog lamps
5. Tail lamps
6. Tail lamps.

Note! There is only a fog tail lamp bulb in one of the tail lamps. In the left tail lamp on left-hand drive cars and in the right on right-hand drive cars.

Tail lamp assembly
- Disconnect the connectors
- Remove the 4 tail lamp nuts
- Remove the tail lamp.




Installation

Tail lamp and bulbs
- In reverse order.
- Tighten the nuts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm.
