Checking the control unit
Check that the control unit is designed for DSTC.
Compare component numbers with specification.





Is it the correct control unit type?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replacing the component

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.




- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components etc.
- Ignition on.
When the ignition is turned on, the control unit turns on the anti-spin warning lamp. The lamp should go out after approximately 2 seconds.

Note! The warning light will not go out if a fault has been registered in the control unit.

Does the warning lamp go out after 2 seconds?

Yes - Verification complete

No - Trouble-shooting information

The fault should be diagnosed and remedied. Since this is not the case the fault-tracing process has failed.
Complete the fault-tracing for those fault or try again.
