Operation
The telephone is operated from the keypad beside the audio head unit or the keypad in the steering wheel. The telephone can only be switched on/off at the keypad beside the audio head unit.
Emergency calls to the emergency services can be made without the ignition key or SIM card.
The first time a SIM card is used the PIN code must be entered. The code can be stored and will not then need to be keyed in. When using several SIM cards, only one PIN code can be stored.
To make it as easy as possible to use the keypad without looking at it all the keys have individual tones when pressed (this function can be switched off via the telephone menu function).
To simplify volume settings a tone at the current setting sounds when the resetting is carried out. The tone is not heard during a call.
For safety reasons certain functions cannot be used at speeds above 8 km/h (5 mph) (can be disconnected). Unfinished functions cannot be finished.
