Checking oil quality




- Ignition off.
Check the oil by taking a sample with the dipstick.
Alternatively:
1. Oil is OK
2. Oil is discolored or has a burnt smell
3. Oil contaminated with water (grayish coloring).





Select a suitable alternative.

1 - No Fault Found

2 - Replacing

3 - Replacing component

Replacing
- Change oil according to Oil, changing, AW50-42 Changing Oil.

Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Continue - FAULT FOUND

Replacing component
- Find out reason, and remedy the cause of water in the oil
- Replace transmission according to Replacing the transmission, AW50-42 Replacing Transmission
- Flush oil cooler, pipes and oil hoses according to Replacing the transmission, AW50-42 Replacing Transmission.





Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Continue - FAULT FOUND
