Replacing the S and W mode selectors

Special tools:
981 4071 STRAIGHTENING TOOL 981 4071 Straightening Tool

Removal




Remove the panel for the connectors. Use a weatherstrip tool 981 4071 STRAIGHTENING TOOL 981 4071 Straightening Tool.
Lift the panel. Press up the mode selector (S or W) from below.
Separate the connector.

Installation




Connect the mode selector.
Press the mode selector into place in the panel.
Install the panel in the center console.

Check diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
Check and erase any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
