Replacing the kickdown micro-switch

Removal

Micro-switch




- Remove the protective cover from the throttle body (TB)
- Detach the throttle cable.




- Remove the screws for the bracket
- Release the bracket.




- Remove the screws and nuts for the micro-switch
- Cut off the 3 tie straps.




- Separate the 2 connectors.

Installation

In reverse order

Check

Checking the micro-switch




- Use a finger to press the switch arm. Listen for a click.




- Turn the throttle pulley so that the pin presses the switch arm down. Feel the switch.
It must have passed the click point.

Note! Carry out this check before installing the throttle cable.
