Replacing the throttle cable

Removal

Throttle cable




- Disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle pulley
- Remove the sleeve from the mounting in the engine compartment
- Cut off the tie straps from the throttle cable in the engine compartment
- Remove the soundproofing panel on the driver's side.




- Remove the screw from the brake strut beside the brake pedal.




- Remove the screw from the brake strut at the hand control.




- Route the throttle cable into the passenger compartment
- Remove the throttle cable with the brake strut.




- Remove the lock nut for the cable
- Unscrew the mechanical cable and the sleeve.

Installation

In reverse order

Note! The throttle cable must be adjusted from the engine compartment.Apply Loctite Normal to the screws

Tightening torques
The screw for the brake strut. Tighten to 8 Nm.
