Replacing the front turn signal lamps and side turn signal flashers

Replacing the front turn signal lamps




- Slacken off the screw holding the lamp two turns
- Detach the lamp housing by pulling it forwards
- Slacken off the holder 1/4 of a turn
- Install the new bulb holder.
Reinstall in reverse order.
- Check the function.

Replacing the side turn signal flasher on the front fender




The bulb and the bulb holder are replaced from the outside.
- Remove the bulb holder: Undo the retaining clip at the front edge as illustrated. Use a feeler gauge.
The feeler gauge should have a thickness of: 0.3 mm.
Stick a piece of tape on the side of the feeler gauge. This is to prevent damage to the paintwork. Press the feeler gauge against the front fender.

Replacing the bulb or holder




- Turn the holder until it detaches
- Disconnect the connector
- Replace the bulb or the holder.
Reinstall in reverse order.
- Check the function of the turn signal flasher.
