Cable harness headlamp unit twin headlamps, replacing

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.

Removal

Removing the cable harness





Remove:
- the protective covers above the headlamp unit
- both the covers on the rear section of the headlamp unit, note the color of the wiring to the lamps
- the connector from the headlamp terminal
- the connector from both the lamps.
Disconnect the connector from the housing.

Caution! Be careful with the headlamp housing.

Installation

Installing the cable harness




Clean the housing where the connector terminal is positioned.
Check the seal on the connector.
Install the cable harness in the housing. Route the correct color cable to the lamps.
Press the connector firmly into place in the headlamp housing. Check that it is secure by pulling the connector catch slightly.
Connect both the connectors to the lamps.
Check the function of the lighting.

Install:
- both the covers
- the protective covers above the headlamp unit.
