The sun sensor must not be covered (located beside the right hand loudspeaker in the windshield).

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the cable between the sun sensor and ECC control module.
- Fault in the sun sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The passenger compartment temperature is not reduced when sun intensity is high.
