FAULT FOUND - Checking the response code for the ON/OFF switch
No Fault Found - ???
------------------------
Checking the response code for the ON/OFF switch
- Ignition on.
- Activate the Scan Tool (ST) in MODE 2.
- Move the switch from ON to OFF or from OFF to ON.
- Check that the ON/OFF switch is OK by checking that response code 1-1-3 is returned.
Is response code 1-1-3 returned?
- 1. Yes, response code 1-1-3 is returned.
- 2. No, response code 1-1-3 is not returned.
- 3. No, response code 3-1-1 is returned instead.
Select one of the above options.

2 - Checking the voltage to the selector switch
3 - Checking response code 3-1-1
------------------------
Checking the response code for the brake valves
- Ignition on.
- Activate the Scan Tool (ST) in MODE 2.
- Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
- Depress the brake pedal.
- Check that the brake valve is OK by checking that response code 1-1-3 is returned.
Is response code 1-1-3 returned?
- 1. Yes, response code 1-1-3 is returned (manual transmission).
- 2. Yes, response code 1-1-3 is returned (automatic transmission).
- 3. No, response code 1-1-3 is not returned.
- 4. No, response code 3-1-1 is returned instead.
Select one of the above options.
1 - Checking the response code for the clutch valve
2 - No Fault Found
3 - Checking brake valves
4 - Checking response code 3-1-1
------------------------
Checking brake valves
- Ignition off.
- Brake valve disconnected.
- Connect the selector switch.
- Selector switch in the OFF position.
Connect an ohmmeter between the terminal pins on the brake valve.
The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 ohms when the brake pedal is unaffected. The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance when the pedal is depressed more than 8 mm.
OK - Checking for a short-circuit
Not OK - Adjusting the brake valve
------------------------
Checking for a short-circuit
- Ignition off.
- Check the cable between the selector switch and the clutch valve. Check the cable between the brake valve and the control module. Check for short-circuits according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault and Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring And Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Select "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

------------------------
Checking the response code for the clutch valve
- Ignition on.
- Activate the Scan Tool (ST) in MODE 2.
- Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
- Depress the clutch pedal
- Check that the brake valve is OK by checking that response code 1-1-3 is returned.
Is response code 1-1-3 returned?
- 1. Yes, response code 1-1-3 is returned.
- 2. No, response code 1-1-3 is not returned.
- 3. No, response code 3-1-1 is returned instead.
Select one of the above options.
1 - No Fault Found
2 - Checking the clutch valve
3 - Checking response code 3-1-1
------------------------
Checking response code 3-1-1
A response code is transmitted when the control module receives several signals from the same component or wiring circuit within 8 milliseconds. The cause of the fault may be loose connections in the terminals or a defective system component.
