Check the vacuum and the condition of the power brake booster.
If necessary, replace the hoses according to Brake pipes and hoses, remove/install Brake Pipes And Hoses, Remove/Install or the power brake booster according to Power brake booster in LHD-models, replacement, L.H.D Removal and Replacement or Power brake booster in RHD-models, replacement .





Were the hoses and the power brake booster OK? (Did not need to be remedied.)
