Hood catch with and without switch

Replacing hood switch without switch





Remove:
- Remove bolts (3x).
- Unlock cable from hood lock.
- Remove hood lock.

Install:
- Hook cable in hook lock.
- Position hood lock, use new bolts (10 Nm).
- Check the function of the hood lock.

Replacing hood switch with switch





Remove:
- Remove the connector inside the front section.
- Remove radiator bracket on the connector side.
- Remove bolts (3x).
- Unhook cable from hood lock.
- Remove hood lock.
- If air-condition is installed, remove radiator bracket on the other side.
- Remove condensor bolts (2x).





Install:
- Hook cable in hood lock.
- Position hood lock, use new bolts (10 Nm).
- Connect connector and install it in the front section.
- Install condensor bolts and radiator brackets.
- Check the function of the hood lock.
