Central Locking Motor, Trunk/Tailgate

Removing central locking motor trunk (S40)







NOTE: Note the position of the pull rod.

- Remove boot lid cover (S40).
- Push the rod out of the cylinder lock mounting clip.
- Remove the mounting screws (2x).
- Remove motor, undo connector and unhook rod.

Removing central locking motor tailgate (V 40)







NOTE: Note the position of the pull rod.

- Remove tailgate cover (V 40).
- Push the rod out of the cylinder lock mounting clip.
- Remove the mounting screws (2x).
- Remove motor, undo connector and unhook rod.

Installing central locking motor trunk/tailgate (S 40/V 40)

- Install connector.
- Install rod (as noted before).
- Position motor unit and fit the screws. Hand tighten the screws.

NOTE: Push the cylinder lock as far to the right as possible and the motor unit as far to the left as possible and tighten the screws.

- Check the function of the motor unit.
- Install boot lid cover (S 40).
- Install tailgate cover (V40).
