Removing tilt sensor

Preparation




Make a note of the radio code.
Turn ignition key to position 0.
Remove the battery ground lead.

Removing




- Remove screw (A).
- Remove right side panel from the center console.

Note! Take caution about the clip.

- Remove the radio.
- Disconnect connectors and antenna cable.
- Remove center console storage bin.




- Unlock the secure clip (B).
- Remove the tilt sensor with a turning movement from the bracket (A).
- Remove the green (GN) connector.

Installing tilt sensor

Installing




- Install the connector green (GN).
- Hook the tilt sensor in the bracket (A).
- Check that the secure clip (B) is locked.




- Install center console storage bin.
- Connect connectors and antenna cable.
- Install the radio.
- Install the side panel and screw (A).




- Turn ignition in position II.
- Reconnect the battery ground lead.
- If applicable: Reenter the radio code.
- Set the correct time on the clock.
- Close the following:
- all the windows and doors
- the boot lid
- the hood
- the sliding sunroof
- Set the car alarm.
- Raise the car (the alarm should now go off).
