Ultrasonic or glass breakage control module

Preparation




Make a note of the radio code.
Turn ignition key to position 0.
Remove the battery ground lead. Otherwise you might create diagnostic trouble codes.

Removing control module

Location Of Components, Ultrasonic Sensor or Glass Breakage Sensor Control Module 4/22:

Remove:
- The control module is located down at the bottom of the ventilator motor.
- Remove the lower cover on the passenger side.
- Undo connectors (green and blue).
- Remove the screws (2x) and remove the control module.

Installing control module

Location Of Components, Ultrasonic Sensor or Glass Breakage Sensor Control Module 4/22:

Install:
- Position control module and mount the screws (2x).
- Install connectors.
- Install cover on passenger side.
- Turn ignition key to position II.
- Mount battery ground lead.
- Always read the diagnostic trouble codes in the VGLA alarm system.
